Australian National University

The ANU has one of the largest concentrations of research astronomers in Australia. With its world famous Mt Stromlo Observatory, it offers an extremely wide range of astronomy and astrophysics courses. For details, consult the web pages for the individual courses:

Every year a number of prestigious scholarships are awarded to top undergraduate Maths, Physics and Engineering students from all over Australia. They come to Mt Stromlo for a couple of months over the summer, to carry out cutting edge research projects and learn about astronomy.

The ANU offers Australia’s largest graduate program in astronomy and astrophysics. Details can be found at http://rsaa.anu.edu.au/study/graduate.
